Investigating committee view Ahmed's medical records

KARACHI: An investigating committee selected of the college on Sunday met the father of Mohammed Ahmed, the 14-year old student of Larkana Cadet College who was allegedly thrashed so severely by his teacher that it caused him to become paralysed and a mute.

Mohammed Rashid, the distressed father of 14-year old cadet Mohammed Ahmed who was allegedly thrashed so severely by a teacher of Larkana Cadet College that it paralysed him, stated that CM Sindh had assured him of full cooperation with regard to Ahmed's operation.

An investigating committee selected of the college on Sunday met the father of Mohammed Ahmed, the 14-year old student of Larkana Cadet College who was allegedly thrashed so severely by his teacher that it caused him to become paralysed and a mute.

According to details, officials of the investigating committee met Mohammed Rashid, father of Mohammed Ahmed, to make further inquiries about the incident and also viewed Ahmed's medical records.

Rashid denied rumours that his son had been suffering from a disease prior to this incident and claimed that Ahmed had been tortured, which had caused a paralysis attack and caused his son to lose his senses, becoming a mute. 

Ahmed's father stated that whether the operation would take place in Pakistan or in the United States, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah had assured him of full cooperation in the matter. The distressed father also thanked Geo News for highlighting his plight and enabling it to reach the corridors of power. 

Ahmed, the 14-year old cadet of Larkana Cadet College who was allegedly thrashed by a teacher so severely that sensitive bones of his neck were fractured, has now been put on a liquid diet since he is unable to chew or digest any food. Medical experts have claimed that successful treatment of the boy can only take place in the United States.
